A unique offering at Breakaway is the oversight of a Clinical Lead for our SDA housing support. This person is a registered nurse with extensive knowledge in the management and governance of providing high and complex disability support. This includes support for people with other health conditions related to to their disability.

Our modern, fully accessible respite facility, Breakaway on Bridge, is located in Wilsonton delivering emergency or planned short and medium term stays based on your needs. We provide responsive tailored respite options that are safe, flexible, and family-orientated to make you feel at home. Our qualified and skilled team are able to provide support for all of your needs including accommodation, meals, personal care and activities.
Breakaway on Bridge is a home away from home, offering a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for you to take a break and give confidence to your carers that you will be well looked after.
Our Day Service offers a comprehensive range of supports and activities for our clients with a focus on promoting independence and personal growth.
Our programs provide a safe and inclusive environment for participants to engage in various activities. Our dedicated team ensures that your unique needs and goals are met.
Breakaway holds a Social Group every Friday night. Social Group activities give participants the opportunity to meet and make new friends in a supportive environment.The events are open to anyone, including participants from other organisations who have their own support.

Breakaway are a registered provider of the National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland (NIISQ).
We are dedicated to providing quality care and support to individuals who have sustained eligible serious personal injuries from a motor vehicle accident in Queensland.
NIISQ funds, assesses and decides necessary and reasonable treatment, care and support for NIISQ participants, and manages and monitors the provision of these services.
